A man murdering his girlfriend over 50 shillings

man charged with brutally murdering
his girlfriend over a 50 shillings row has
pleaded guilty to murder. Geoffrey
Wanjala of Kalamega, pleaded guilty to the crime after
a medical report indicated that he was
mentally sound to take a plea.the source said that he wanted to use the money to buy some food and remain with some to buy cigarates since he is a smoker. His lawyer
has however rejected the report arguing
that Wanjala’s father had not been
interviewed regarding Wanjala’s troubled
childhood. Wanjala is accused of
murdering Jane Mutiso on the 20th of last
month in kawangware. Justice Roselyn
Korir of Lalamega has given his lawyer two weeks to
consult the accused and the state over his
guilty. The case will be mentioned on
the 27th of this month when the judge is
