Rural MP Charles Mutisya Nyamai had
neither denied nor admitted that
police uprooted bhang from his
Kileleshwa home.
On November 19, police raided the
home and uprooted five sacks of a
plant or weeds that “resembled”
cannabis sativa, which is the bhang,which was being
grown at a garden. At Kileleshwa
A source who witnessed the operation
insisted that the substance was bhang.
“It was taken to Kileleshwa Police
Station. I am certain they want to hide
the incident and destroy the evidence,”
the man told The Nairobi vibes
The MP was not in the compound when
the operation was conducted.one of the police said.
Kilimani OCPD Peter Katam said they
are not sure whether the exhibit that
was taken to the Government Chemist
for testing is bhang.(this man is becoming idiot now)
“The plant is similar to bhang. The
Government Chemist will tell us,” said
the police boss.
When contacted for comment, the
legislator wrote on SMS that he was
not aware of the incident since he had
been away.
He asked the writer to  give him
information about the alleged raid by
police.
“I have been away and I am not aware
of the incident. Who uprooted
(bhang)?” he responded through a text
message.
