Sad poem of Kenya at 50

Dear fellow Kenyans,
My Kenya @ 50 POEM,
There is little to CELEBRATE,
There is still alot that FRUSTRATE,
This poem from me is DELIBRATE,
But am not here to CASTRATE.
At 50 we still have TRIBALISM,
In our offices its just NEPOTISM,
Is this what we call NATIONALISM?
Long gone is the PATRIOTISM.
Our current government is SHAME,
But whom are we to BLAME,
At 50 all politicians are SAME,
We voted them,us crying is LAME.
Otieno-Wanjiku hardly tie a KNOT,
Lui-Oti holding each other TROAT,
Well-educated Nyabuto is a TOUT,
Is this the Kenya we THOUGHT?
At 50 our women are still RAPED,
Our children often MISTREATED,
Common mwananchi FRUSTRATED,
A Shame to heroes who are DEAD!
Its time for us to sing a SONG,
Unite and correct the WRONG,
Forever we shall be STRONG,
The journey is still too LONG.
