The world's most expensive socks
have gone on sale for Sh103,000
(£726) a pair and they are so rare on
10 pairs have been made.
German fashion company Falke have
produced the footwear made from
vicuña wool, which is from a rare
Peruvian animal, and they are so rare
only 10 pairs have been made.
The organisation's website states:
"The fine wool and thermal properties
communicate the uniqueness of the
yarn.
"Vicuña wool is the rarest and most
expensive wool in the world, being
softer, lighter and warmer than any
other wool.
"Since the fibres are very delicate, the
wool's natural golden colour remains
unchanged."
